President Trump is looking into banning Chinese app TikTok

UPDATE 3:

President Trump has agreed to give ByteDance 45 days to negotiate the sale of TikTok with Microsoft.

UPDATE:

While on Air Force One, Trump says he is banning TikTok. and he will be signing the document as soon as August 1st.

TikTok is a Chinese app owned by the company ByteDance, with a sole purpose of creating 15-60 second long videos. Or so we thought.

ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, is said to steal info on the deep stock market, federal spending, and banking information. They are said to send this information to the Chinese government.
