Former challenger Brenda Jones (D-MI) is facing against first term congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a progressive democrat and member of the "squad", with AOC (D-NY), Ilhan Omar, (D-MN), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). According to "The Hill", "Jones narrowly defeated Tlaib in the special election to fill the remainder of the term of the late Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) in 2018, after the long-term congressman resigned following sexual misconduct allegations." Tlaib is winning against Brenda Jones, but that could all change today during their primary election.

UPDATE: Tlaib won the election.
