Former Vice President Joe Biden is the presumptive democratic nominee for the 2020 Presidential race. He would usually be formally nominated at the Democratic National Convention. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, Joe Biden will be attending the convention virtually. Along with Biden, there will be many virtual guest speakers, including 2016 Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton, and the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will be speaking on Wednesday if she is not selected to be Biden's running mate. President Obama's time slot has not been announced. Sen. Bernie Sanders, former 2016 and 2020 Presidential candidate, and former Gov. John Kasich, a Republican from Ohio, will both be speaking on Monday night. We do not know if Michelle Obama will be making a speech at the 2020 convention.
